I thought I would step out of my comfort zone and do an abstract painting. Well, after much tweeking of the design, I really like it. However, my friend asked me what the name of my painting was. Great news. When my son was home on leave, I showed him my abstract. He wanted it for his living room. I didn't have a place for it and he liked it. Works well for all of us. 5/29/2011

Acceptance into SODU Gallery - From a Woman's Hand Show
I am pleased because this week I got my acceptance notice for the SoDu Gallery's show. It is from March 19 - 29, 2011. Their opening reception if March 19, from 6 to 9 pm. I am pleased with my assemblage sculpture. You guys get an early peak at the assemblage called Sisters.
